Sharon teaches personalised and engaging lessons to students in year 8 of school or higher. Lessons focus on improving mathematical understanding and raising both confidence and grades. Lessons are taught face to face at her home in Norton, Stourbridge. Here, she provides a quiet and calm learning enviroment. Unfortunately, Sharon is unable to travel the student's home.
In my experience, students can be reluctant to try online maths lessons, particularly after recieving so much school online tuition during Covid-19. However, I find students enjoy and learn from my online lessons. So I would advise learners to try a 121 online lesson before making their decision.
If you are interested in private tuition or have any questions, please get in touch by text, email or phone.
Free trial: Choosing a private tutor via the internet, brings its challenges. Since, it is can be difficult to determine if the learner will enjoy and learn from the tutor's lessons and teaching style. So, to combat this, I offer a free mini taster lesson.
Please be aware: The new maths GCSE exam is challenging, so if you have an inkling that you or your child may need extra maths support, try tuition sooner rather than later.

UKMT, GCSE & iGCSE past papers
A student's exam preparation should include practicing past maths papers and the marking of their answers. Then a quick audit of their completed paper, can be used to identify gaps in their knowledge and hopefully trigger a "call to action" to address their gaps, by focussed revision or seeking help from others. To help with this, my website provides past papers, mark schemes, grade boundaries and the course specifications for both the maths GCSE and maths iGCSE. Also, available are past papers for both the junior and intermediate UK maths challenges from UK Maths Trust.
Disclaimer: Sharon works hard to ensure that she delivers her very best teaching to all of her tutees. However, examination results and success cannot be guaranteed as they are dependent on multiple factors.
